Tribe Did It Again
When Tribe launches, the whole Carnival world takes notes. On July 5th, 2025, Tribe’s 2026 band launch rolled out with waves—literally. Their theme, “MARAYE,” channelled ocean energy, deep mystery, and undeniable magic. The visuals? Drenched in drama.
The Big Four: One Stage! Launch Land!
Tribe didn’t go it alone. As usual, they brought the full force of their Carnival ecosystem:

Each band brought a different energy. Together? They laid the foundation for what Trinidad Carnival 2026 will feel like. Mark the dates — February 16th and 17th — right after Valentine’s. Coincidence? We don’t think so.
The real MVPs of the night were the designers. For us, these were the true standouts — creators who left us with our jaws on the floor. Keisha Als, Humzee, Fon Rose, David Dewar X Achsah with the section Siren, Mariange Bovell with Mystara, JP Richardson, Shawn Danraj with Koraal, Solange Govia with Gorgona, and Oylan. They didn’t just design costumes — they told stories with feathers, fabric, and fantasy.

Whether you’re a frontline loyalist or backline lover, Tribe had something for everyone.
