Carnival Costume Getting-Dressed Assistance

Professional getting-dressed assistance for modern Carnival costumes: wire bras, monokinis, backpacks, collars, harnesses. Included in Full Service Glam Hub packages in Trinidad, Jamaica and Miami. Grenada is the one Glam Hub Lite that offers dressing assistance, with no seamstress.

Wire bras, monokinis, backpacks

Correct positioning, hidden padding for support, waist and hip strap tuning, hardware secured so nothing shifts on the road.

Collars, harnesses and headpieces

Locked into your hair install so it sits high and stays put. Backup pins, tape and touch-up strap kit on hand.

How much does getting dressed cost?

Carnival morning access, which covers getting dressed, the lounge, refreshments and the shuttle where it runs, is US$35 per masquerader and is free with any Glam Hub service. It is a Full Service Glam Hub inclusion, so it is offered in the territories where we open the full lounge.

Glam Hub Lite

A Glam Hub Lite does not offer getting dressed, seamstress, overnight bag check, shuttle, hair, bronzing, reels, alcohol, breakfast. Grenada is the one exception: it offers dressing assistance, and still no seamstress.

Why it matters

A modern Carnival costume is a piece of engineering. Wires dig, straps slip, hooks sit in the wrong place and a backpack that is half a centimetre out will bruise a shoulder by lunchtime. A seamstress on site can take in a bra, move a hook or rescue a fitting problem on the morning itself, which is not something a hotel room and a friend can do.
